02. Processing

QP-Prostate® automatically runs processing steps, such as automatic AIF selection, registration and motion correction, and spatial smoothing algorithms to improve image quality and minimize vendor heterogeneity. Our web-based DICOM viewer allows user to customize and adjust the processing steps.

03. AI-based segmentation

QP-Prostate® AI algorithm, based on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), automatically identify prostate anatomy to segment each prostate region: the transitional zone, peripheral zone, and seminal vesicles, as well as other areas defined in the PI-RADS v2.1 guidelines.

04. Analysis

QP-Prostate® performs automated diffusion and perfusion analysis to extract clinically meaningful quantitative information from the MRI examination.

Prostate cancer is one of the most common types of cancer among men and is the second leading cause of cancer death in men worldwide. More than 1.4 million men are diagnosed annually with prostate cancer. Prostate MRI, in conjunction with targeted biopsy, improves the identification of clinically significant cancer while reducing unnecessary interventions

The solution

QP-Prostate® is state-of-the-art medical software that streamlines reading of prostate MRI exams by providing automated, quantitative image analysis. The solution provides apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) heat maps, perfusion pharmacokinetics, and automatic segmentation of the whole prostate gland.

QP-Prostate outputs can be visualized on DICOM workstations or integrated directly in PACS. It provides standardized structured reports following PI-RADS V2.1 guidelines for patient friendly reports.

The QP-Prostate viewer allows for ROI management and annotation of whole gland segmentation. The structured report offers pre-populated information, technical details, prostate gland volume, PI-RADS scoring template, automated ROI metrics, and an efficient way to enter radiology conclusions with image selection. The output of QP-Prostate® is provided in DICOM format and can be used for fusion-biopsy targeting for more accurate and precise biopsy results.
